Who we are
The marketing website at zappcontact.com is operated by Zephyr Orbital LLC, trading as Zephyr Events ("Zephyr", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over that data. This policy does not cover the ZappContact application at app.zappcontact.com. If you are using the application at an event, ask the event organizer or exhibitor for the privacy notice that applies to their event.
Data we collect
- Demo bookings. The demo page links out to a Notion Calendar booking page hosted by Notion Labs Inc. When you pick a time there, Notion Calendar receives your name, email, and timezone in order to confirm the booking. The marketing site itself does not store this information; we read the booking on the call.
- Analytics. The current site does not load analytics scripts. The production version will use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, with cookies set only after you accept them. This section will be expanded when analytics are live.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard web request data (timestamp, requested path, IP, user agent) for security and abuse prevention. Logs are retained for 30 days.
Cookies
The current marketing site does not set cookies for analytics or advertising. A small number of strictly functional cookies may be set by embedded third-party services (for example, to remember a calendar timezone preference). These cookies are not used to identify you or to advertise to you. When analytics are added, this section will be updated and a cookie consent banner will be introduced before any non-essential cookie is set.
Third-party services on this website
- Notion Calendar. Booking link on the demo page. Clicking the demo button opens calendar.notion.so in a new tab. When you pick a slot, Notion Labs Inc. receives your name, email, and timezone.
- Hosting provider. The site is hosted on a standard cloud provider that handles request routing, TLS termination, and access logs.
Each of these processors maintains their own privacy policy.
How long we keep data
Demo bookings made through Notion Calendar are retained as long as the conversation with you is active, plus 12 months. After that, we delete the booking record and any related thread unless you have become a customer or have asked us to keep in touch. Server logs are retained for 30 days.
Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to ask us to delete it, and to receive a portable copy of it. You can also object to processing or ask us to restrict it. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@zappcontact.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Security
We follow industry-standard practices to protect your data, including TLS in transit, encryption at rest where supported by the provider, least-privilege access for staff, and regular review of vendor security postures. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your data as if it were our own.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of the page. If a change materially affects how we handle your data, we will post a notice on the marketing site.
